Oh no....

I am actually wondering how effectively the Zoladex is working. I have been in quite a bit of pain over the past day or two and thought it was just being bloated and guts not being great, but as it turns out I am having another bleed. I am hoping that this will be the last blip and that once I have the third injection on 17th September, there will be no more problems. I need to be fully fit and well from here on in as I am about to start an MSc and will have a very full-on schedule.

It is now just over one year since my surgery....!

Hello

Just thought I'd drop a comment as I had endometriosis in my 20s and opted for Zoledex as treatment at 25. I'm now 34 and once I'd finished my course of Zoledex I went back on the pill and have never had the same intense periods again. At most I get a stomach ache and get water retention the day I'm due and that's it. Far cry from the vomiting, loose bowels, stomach agony I used to get. Haven't tried for children yet but definitely don't regret the treatment - just thought you might like to hear from someone out the other end : ) (also going through the menopause at the same time as my mum was amusing!)
